I had the privilege last week to attend blogger night<\/strong> at The American Repertory Theatre (A.R.T.<\/a>) in Harvard Square.<\/p>\n

Anna Deavere Smith<\/a>, a Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize nominated writer, performer, and professor performed “LET ME DOWN EASY<\/strong> a play in evolution”. <\/p>\n

Anna first caught my eye about a year ago, as I was traversing through TED<\/a> videos. It was one of those videos that stuck (embedded below). I just had to jump on this opportunity to catch her play in-person. And it did not disappoint<\/p>\n

The play spans ~2.5 hours, it’s a one-woman show, in which Anna does an absolutely amazing job of playing multiple, diverse characters, exploring the question “how do we pursue grace and kindness in a competitive and sometimes distressing world?” through her characters.<\/p>\n
