Examining traffic to <a href=\"http:\/\/irs.gov\"><strong>IRS.gov<\/strong><\/a> for the past few years,  it looks like my tax filing behavior may not be the norm!! &#8212;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/siteanalytics.compete.com\/irs.gov\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/home.compete.com.edgesuite.net\/site_media\/upl\/img\/IRS_2008.png\" alt=\"Unique Visitors to irs.gov\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>My observations:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Traffic to IRS.gov peaks in February each year (and not in April :)<\/li>\n<li>After several, mostly flat years, more people are visiting IRS.gov this year.  However, my guess is that some of this increase was likely driven by people curious about the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.irs.gov\/irs\/article\/0,,id=177937,00.html\">Economic Stimulus Payments<\/a>.  Compared to February &#8217;07, traffic is up 27% this year.
